Got her back. She just appeared under my parent's car port. Don't know what happened, don't care. Possible when the fireworks display went off she went nuts trying to get to them thinking they were gun shots or it's possible she was in captivity, had to cut a few throats, stole a car, and crash landed a helicopter to get back....wont know till I finish teaching her English.

Thanks for the support guys, now I can focus on work and hunting again. I was sick for two days about this. Going to have her chipped this week

Went to our christmas parade last night and came home to only one dog. No chance my lab got out of the fence by herself, in 4 years she has never ran off, the other dog was still here. How am I supposed to cope with this? I've never been this low in my life. After being on a high all weekend after winning that boat, im in the verge of insanity.

Police have been contacted, news has been spread by word of mouth and FB, flyers going to be printed. I feel helpless.

Any advice or words of encouragement would be nice....this sucks

That sucks. I hope your dog gets back home safely. And I hope you find the bastard that stole it before the cops do.

Start a facebook page just for your pup,"Finding Dixie" or whatever the pups name is and ask people to share, share, share. Make sure you include plenty of pictures of the pup. That way it reaches many more people and you dont have to put out your personal facebook to the world.

Didn't someone else here have a dog stolen a couple of weeks ago? That takes a real piece of sh*t. Hope you find your pup.

Man, my brother's lab ran off one night, and we did everything. contacted pound, flyers, just the works. He showed up 5 days later well fed. Someone thought they had a new lab until he showed back up. Don't give up man, dogs are smart. They know where they belong and will find his way back

Trying to be positive, but is there any chance she is in heat?

My female climbed a 6 foot fence, left for over a day and eventually came back...knocked up

That's what I was wondering too Dodd, buddies has run off twice and both times that slut returns knocked up. Thank goodness she has a thing for chocolate wang, both times she's bred with a pretty damn good lab. Hope this is the case.

I know its tough as hell right now, but I honestly wouldn't start seriously worrying for a few days. I've had them get out - when they never could or have never gone it - and show up in a few days. Keep spreading the word and putting it out. I'm sure she'll show up.

Best of luck brother. Stay busy too.

I don't understand what people would do with a stolen dog? Like is he going to sell it, or just wants a free dog?

Tagged, not chipped

We were at my parents house for the weekend in Oakdale. If you know anything about this area, you'll quickly understand that no one I going to be bringing her to a vet or a shelter. They will keep her to hunt, sell her to someone to hunt, or kill her is she does not hunt. We're not in a big city, this is backwoods area.
