If the Jets started Tebow today vs JAX would Goodell fine them? Since they didn't inform the media, fans, and league in a timely fashion of this. I think Stern was a fool and San Antonio shouldn't had to pay the fine.

No I'm comparing the fact that a commissioner got involved in a teams personell decision made for their sake. And the NFL example is probably most visible one that would likely happen and would be more scrutinized.
