I said it just for you.

But it was John Curtis and John Curtis alone that had the authority to move up. Super Class 5A was created and they didn't go.

The district may not have wanted them, but they couldn't stop them either.

I know you were trollin' me brah I wish they would have moved up to 5A. But, there should be a super class for just football or be allowed to play all the way up in football and stay in your class in everything else.

That said, Roth is scared to play Curtis

Wasn't Darius Reynaud on that Hahnville team?

Yes he was. Jacob Hester was one of Evangel's stars that year. That was a really good game. That was the last time Hahnville had real size on the lines, we've fallen way off since then.

Why doesn't the LHSAA just put the private schools in one league and the public schools in another? Virtually every private school that is a football power recruits players or at the very least, kids who are superior athletes transfer out of public schools to go to certain private ones just to play football. It's killing some of the smaller public schools who have to rely on playing kids who are in their enrollment zone. Candy coat it however you want but it is NOT a level playing field and never will be as long as private schools are allowed to compete in the same classification as public schools.

because then you'll get football like a nameless state. whose flagship college won a national title in the 90s.. and has been pretty much an after thought since...

So when JC beat the shite out of 6 AAAAAA Florida PLANT to begin the year I guess that didn't prove anything. I dont even care much for JC but some of you clearly show your bias. When given the opportunity to play top competition they still win. In Louisiana they would still be a top program going to state semi's or finals if in 5A or 4A.

Heck, if anything they would get better because they would be recruiting kids to play at a higher level. Like recruiting a kid to play in the Sunbelt vs the SEC.
