Tubbs has gone ape- shite. I've tried to see it from his point of view all day, did the fans really make it that hard for him to follow Leach?

Tuberville probably had problems at Texas Tech much like Leach had. After reading Leach's book, I realized his problems at Texas Tech reached much farther than the Craig James & son ordeal.

I would guess he was also concerned, he's losing his OC, and perhaps if they had a bad year next year, he might be fired. Going to Cincy guarantees him at least three years....

I think Tubbs was pissed about the heat that was put on him after his 5-7 record last year and knew his leash was short at TT..

Lubbock is a miserable place to be. Cincinnati is a fairly decent metropolitan area. I don't blame him.
