They must have been out partying all night and went straight to catch the flight

Supposedly, 12 or more Cowboys were out partying and this happened at about 2:30 am. Such a moronic decision on so many levels.

I don't think a practice squad player travels with the team to away games.

The Cowboys have always been some of the worst when it comes to off the field behavior. The coach has nothing to do with it. So much gets ignored by the local police when it comes to their antics. They have to do something big for it to go public. It's been like this since the 90s.

They weren't a bunch of choirboys in the '80s.

And his roommate, I believe. I'm seeing some "thug POS" chatter around in other threads, but I know when I was younger, I made some AWFUL decisions that thankfully ended no lives. Could have, easily, but didn't. Doesn't mean I'm a "thug".

Son used to work for the Cowboys and got the info early. Said Brent was one of the better guys to talk to, more articulate than most and a pretty good guy. He did have a drinking problem though. Really sad. Too much money too early and in Dallas too much hero worship.

There's a name I haven't heard in years. Is Thomas still with us?

Hell the Cowboys had characters on the team in the '60s and I'm not counting Tom Landry.

I just can't understand why so many athletes don't just hire someone to drive them around. You know you're going to be living the high life so protect yourselves. Very sad situation.

They are partiers on every team (check out Bobby Layne on the '50s Lions). They just don't get publicized.

I heard he was in that Mickey Mantle league of partiers in his time. Showing up to games drunk and then throwing 4 tds.
