Texas Tech got rid of an a-hole in Leach. I doubt they want to go through some sort of bullshite like that again with Petrino

They hired Knight and loved him at first... fans were pissed when they fired Leach. Got rid of their second shitty BBall coach, but Petrino doesn't have on the field issues.

Will be interesting to see what they do.

Kingsbury needs to get a couple more years learning under Sumlin. Jumping to a HC gig too soon could be dangerous for his career, long term.

I don't think KK is ready just yet.

Petrino would do great things at TTU. That would be a good spot for him.

This.

Plus Bobby will love all the loose women in Lubbock.

Petrino. He may be an a-hole, but he wins, with a passing offense

Yeah, TT is a perfect place for Petrino to land for a couple years until an SEC job opens up.

Agreed!

No one ready to touch Petrino regardless of how good a coach he may be.

High school coaches in texas hate petrino. Would be a stupid hire.

My understanding is that coaches don't like Petrino anywhere.

Doesn't matter winning cures all. If he puts a winner on the field he will get players. Hell Leach thought he was a fricking pirate and got kids to Lubbock. All BP did was cheat on his wife (which is bad) not like its unheard of.

No its something else. The snubs go back way before the incident that intimately got him fired.

I really have never seen KK as head coach material. He does not have the presence of a head coach at all. Some of the reason for that could be age and maturity. But I am not seeing it right now. For example, if Sumlin were to step down at A&M, I would not want Kingsbury to replace him.
