This bruiser is in a creek bottom down from my house. I have only seen him twice in daylight and season wasn' t in. Me and little angus are going to spend the day on the creek tomorrow to see if we can bump him up.

i'm dang proud of you...

3.5 yrs, not old.. he's bowed up and been eating good..
i wish he was looking straight on, would be easier to guess.. from that angle looks like a 18" or so spread and a main frame 10. 1's and 2's are kinda short but all of em have good mass.. His left side is carrying more length, especially on 3 and 4... Dang hard to say from that angle... maybe 150?

the more i look at it,,, at that angle it's hard to tell on the spread too... It might not be as wide as I thought.. Whatever,,,, great deer..

damn fine deer. I'd love to see what he would look like a couple years from now but no way I'd let him walk.

that double throat patch is cool as hell too.

good luck

He was eating up my peanuts but since harvest he has gone back to recluse mode. Was scouting the creek the other day for bobcat sign and found where he was tearing up some cedar trees. Maybe me and little angus will be able to get you whatever angle you want

The only way you can age a deer is to cut open his jaw.

That deer is easy 145-150 and probably 4.5 or older. I just realized he has a double throat patch which is awesome.

That's the only picture I have except for one with his head down. And just to add the rut isn't really going on right now everything is kind of in pre rut
