What is St. Gustuvus getting paid?

Serious question, haven't seen this reported anywhere, but Auburn's hired was shuffled to the back due to the bigger hire that occurred that day.

Don't tell anyone, but my extensive wikipedia research has verified that Jones has no recruiting connections to the Southeast.

...you mean besides the fact that the SEC has dominated college football over the last decade?

Let's be honest.

Wisconsin was a 7-5 team in an exceptionally weak Big 10 conference this year.

It is revealing when you obviously spin reality to make a point.

I agree, you can't point to one mediocre season. But to be fair, Bielema averaged 3-4 losses a year in Madison.

I don't think Butch Jones is that much of a step down from Bielema as a coach or recruiter.

At Arkansas success is measured by a coaches former team going 0-3 in Rose Bowls.

Bobby Petrino's loss in the sugar bowl was the greatest win in school history.

I hoped 4-8 season with a humiliating loss to ULM might make them less obnoxious but I guess not.

Would someone tell me how Arkansas has become such an expert on how to hire a good coach or have a championship program? I mean to listen to some of these Arkansas fans you would think they have actually been some kind of major force in the SEC. When you are in the hunt for national championships or win the SEC then you can run your mouth or brag about your program. The truth is no one knows how good any of these coaches will be but it wasn't Jones was coaching at Furman. This reminds me of people saying Les Miles is lucky and not a good coach, your not lucky for a career maybe a season (like Chizik). Arkansas is really pathetic to look down at other programs like they have actually done something in recent history to brag about.

FWIW, I believe Tennessee made a good hire.

Like a lot of posters from various teams, they're just stirring the pot. It's not my favorite thing to do but that's what it is. LSU's own Crow Pie is the epitome.

The rose bowl is usually one of the better bowl matchups.

The rose bowl does have better match ups because its the Big 10 and the Pac 10. The Sugar Bowl probably isn't as exciting because the SEC curb stomps everyone.

are u freakin kidding me?!?!?!

We're paying $200,000 more for a guy that's won 3 big ten championships and gone to 3 straight rose bowls.

I think he's a good coach, but for 3mil a year? No way.

Back back back back, caught at the warning trackfor the third out.

Wait, R-Kansas is talking smack to Tennessee fan?
