Gus is the OC. Rhett is the ball boy getting paid large.

Wasn't he also in one of the boy bands of the late 90s?

Wow. He is my age. Graduated from Shiloh in 2002. Arkansas in 2006.

Yep, he's a young guy. Hopefully he'll help with recruiting.

I know you sparingly use that thing inside your head but maybe if you used it more often, you'd see it's pretty obvious that Gus wants to run the offense and the best way for him to do that is to hire his protege.

I remember when homeboy was supposed to be the next big thing. I thought he was an '01 grad from Shiloh though. He did a good job beating up on the likes of Greenland and places. Did he play ball in college?

Or he could just hire who ever he wants and have them coach a position and help him up in the booth while he call the plays.

He can do pretty much whatever he wants now, he is the head coach, or has the Auburn AD not given him that memo, or is he just their puppet?

Walked on at Arkansas, eventually got hurt and just jockeyed the clipboard. Gus Malzahn's OC, one of the cushier jobs I could think of. 6 figure salary to dickride and live the life. Of course whatever school hires him as HC in 3-4 years is going to be a flaming disaster (looking at you Tennessee).

You know you have hit rock bottom when you hire an offensive coordinator that does not even have his own Wikipedia page.
