Keep it all in here.

Just posted this in another thread about the defense:

6 are seniors. 2 may leave for the draft.

But one of the seniors is an addition by subtraction(Travis Howard) and our defense wasn't even that dominant this year.

If Bradley Roby(50/50) and Jonathon Hankins(doubtful, but maybe) stick around, our defense will be VERY stout net year. Our line will reload and our linebackers and DBs will be an upgrade imo.

Boren wasn't even playing LB half the year, just filled in for inuries.

And Sabino was hurt half the year, and was very unimpressive for what he was supposed to be.

Our DL will be fine if Hankins comes back. Nate Williams is a loss, but Noah Spence(Leo) will be the nest big thing at Ohio State. He is extremely athletic.

Ohio State is reloaded if Roby and Hankins stay.

I think Roby stays and Hankins goes, but we have people to fill the DT, but they won't be JH caliber.

Even if Hankins leaves, the DL will be very good again. Roby needs to stay. Another year of seasoning and he'll be a top 10 lock.

Chris Carter is freakishly big...6'6" 340 lbs NG on the Dline. John Hankins said that once he gets his technique down, he will be the best Dlineman in the country. Doran Grant..former 5* DB will fill in for Travis Howard. He will be a stud! If Roby stays, the secondary will be solid. The area of biggest concern is LB's. Curtis Grant MUST develop. This kid was the #1 LB in the country out of HS. His improvement is crucial in the success of the defense. Shazier will be an All American. Is it August yet???

For sure the schedule is easy, but what can you do? I believe we replace Nebraska and Michigan St with Minnesota and Northwestern. The Buckeyes are set up for a national title run without question.

The DL looks promising with a lot of the young guys getting playing time this past season.

The LB's scare me. Hopefully a couple of the freshman from this past class can step up.

Our LBs were shite this year besides Shazier, who returns.

Curtis Grant needs to step the frick up.

No idea, they have 9 seniors starting. And two more SRs on their 2 deep. Looks like their major hit will be their OL.

Re: defensive line

Adolphus Washington is a stud and will probably move into Simon's spot. He and Spence should be elite pass rushers on the edge so I'd rather see Washington on the edge though he has proven he can be an effective DT.

Schutt also played a lot inside and Bennett has experience and looked good once he was healthy. Hankins would be a huge bonus if he comes back.

We would be able to beat anyone in the country net year if Roby and Hankins return. That's for sure.

Come back, Big Jon!

And Vandy backed out.

Auburn has an open date though...

Also, Arizona, BYU, Georgia Tech are options but would require a home and home probably.

Tulane and Wake Forest have open dates as well.

Oline:

Only lose Freigel. Decker will step into that role. Hopefully depth will improve because I don't see us going another year without one game missed by an offensive lineman.
