There's a lot of talk about SHSU HC Willie Fritz on Eaglepost.

Petrino supposedly said he's not interested per my USM alum coworker

they probably wanted to put some kind of clause in the contract that made it incredibly difficult for him to frick them over by leaving after a year to two.

that or maybe a morals clause that could have let them dump his arse at the drop of a hat with no compensation.

That's why he didn't accept the Kentucky OC job. If Southern Miss hires Anderson, look for Brown to go home to Kentucky as the OC.

0% Nutt comes to USM. Current leaders are Neal Brown (OC at TexasTech) and Blake Anderson (OC at UNC)

Neal Brown would be a catastrophic disaster. Dude is 32 walking Into a buzz saw of a program.

Nutt would be a home run hire.

LSU needs to drop S Miss in 2016
I'm scared of playing a Houston Nutt team non conference in Tiger Stadium.
Dude always comes up with something for LSU.
Honestly, that's one coach I'm glad LSU doesn't have to deal with anymore.
