I think he'll be a good coach but I don't think he will ever win any championships. He can develop players all he wants but to win championships you have to be able to recruit. Alabama and LSU both recruit and develop with the best of them and that's why they compete year in year out. Doing both vs. doing one of the two is the difference between good and great.

Coach Bielema was just on Bo's show. Same stuff we've already heard, but I heard one new stat that I liked--in each of the past two years Wisconsin had more players inked to NFL contracts than any other program, better than the likes of LSU and Alabama.

I don't care how he gets them as long as they are here. This guy always has extremely talented football teams. We will always have decent recruiting classes but never great. We will rely on smart players, redshirted players, and well coached players unlike LSU and Auburn. Can't talk shite about Alabama. They do it all.

His home grown two and three stars end up being beast. Look at Owen Daniels, J.J Watt, etc. their are shite tons.

Yeah, he may not have us 14-0 in two years like Chiz did Auburn, but I doubt we are replacing him for going 0-8 in four years either...

Yep I agree with that. If this was supposed to be a shot at Auburn, it was a bad one. At least we got a championship out of the coach that put us in the crapper. What does Petrino have to show for his success? A Sugar Bowl loss.

It is not a shot, he is a coach that knows how to build a program, hence the horrid recruiting rankings but awesome NFL results.

It may not show on the field for a couple years (or it may there is some talent on the roster already), but long term this is a good hire verses hoping for short term success then hopefully they will figure it out long term like Chiz and crew.

Ya'll in for a suprise, this dude can't recruit for shite,

Why, because Rivals say so?

Not exactly a boat load of talent in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. They have Michigan and Illinois to recruit which they have to split among the majority of the Big 10.

He's had the most players sign an NFL contract 2 or 3 years running, I would say he is doing a decent job.

If Bobby fricking Petrino can recruit top 25 classes, he can.

You have no idea who Bielema is, so flame on flamer.

I heard on the radio a little while ago that Switzer (since he's from Arkansas) on the UA hire. He said (and I'm paraphrasing) "So I hear he grew up on a pig farm. Ok, I like that. Last thing I saw from him is that he hung 70 on Nebraska; that's good. He comes from that coaching tree that includes Bill Snyder and Fry; that's good. I heard he has a 27 year old wife... Ok, I'm sold."

It does not matter, Arkansas is back to getting trashed by ESPN and national media yet again. Barry Alvarez calls BB out and says he needs to do a better job with selecting coaches.

I wish him the best and hope he makes it, I know Paw Paw Broyles is all about him since he is a Fry guy. Here is to hoping it to work but not expecting too and another I told ya so. Good thing is J Long might go when he is gone which we can only hope. He probably leaves before then though.

Do you live on Mars? The media is doing the complete opposite of this.

Can't think of anything else to do and just making shite up now?

Don't think you'd find very many that think any of the three 'suck'. Some, including me, don't think much of Gus, but acknowledge he's at the least a very good offensive coach.

If that is true, you would think he would have won a bowl game, or two, or three in that period.

Les Miles has only won one in the same time period...
