The nation would never be impressed with LSU's ability to stomp Clemson.

I'm pretty confident we will, for several reasons:

-We're straight up a better team, top to bottom.
-We'll be very healthy across the board.
-CLM (minus last year) has a great bowl record and does a very good job of preparing his team for big games. Furthermore, as bad as last year was, I think CLM learned a lot from that game and will be a better bowl coach because of it.
-Clemson gave up 70 points last year and got handled by SC this year.
-The Georgia Dome has been good to us the last 3 times we've been there.

LSU gets a statement win giving us a ton of momentum going into NSD and 2013.

Says Troy in 08 (I realize we won), and a lot of worse teams that we have played.

We will win, I just see it being closer than I would want it.

I was really hoping we stumble out of the gate and barely win :jagfan.gif:

Hope not, but this season LSU has played too close for comfort more times than not. I would like to see a dominant, convincing LSU victory, but given what we've watched most of this year, I'm not holding my breath. And I fully expect Clemson to come out strong.

Les has lost 2 of his last 3 bowl games in agonizing fashion. Granted two of those last three were with JJ at the helm. But I digress.

We shall see if he trots out the usual Bo-Ball BS w/two-man passing routes, no PA passing, and forgetting the TE as a viable passing game option, or whether we actually something resembling a modern offensive football team.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

They did this all season. You werent paying attention. This offense is completely diff than the one centered around jordan. Our wrs arent very good, and we lost one of the more promising tes in jacobs.
