I bet he seriously considered LSU. Underachieving every year.

Spot on comment.

Random CSB, but I met Herbstreit in 2003 at a early season cowboys game. We asked him why he never gave LSU any credit and his response was " Win something". We proceeded to go 13-1 that year and win the NC. As most have said though, he is a huge douche.

Another CSB going off what you said. Georgia in 2003 I spoke to Chris Fowler and asked him for a quote for my website. He told me, "the crowd WILL NOT be a factor, Georgia WILL NOT be affected or intimidated by the environment."

I walked by Herbie before the 2007 title game. We were going in opposite directions.

I said "sup Kirk" and he said "sup" and we kept walking. Never broke stride.

Scott Van Pelt was very cool after the Bama game this year. He took pics with people, talked with some fans, raved about the environment, and treated the fans like equals. It is one thing to be professional, it is another to try and completely big league someone.

Somebody needs to go post this over on Clemson's TigerNet board.

I would, but I'm banned.
