Sunday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (NBC): 20.4 million viewers [Note: This was SNF's fourth-lowest viewership figure of the season. The only times fewer people watched SNF were when it was going up directly against playoff baseball.]

So you NFC East and Cowboys apologists who scolded me by playing the "NBC is a business and they picked the game that will get them the highest ratings, and the Cowboys get better ratings than ANYONE" card can take your argument and shove it up your arse.

Sometimes when the public gets fed horseshite for weeks on end, they get sick to the stomach and throw up.

The guy who masturbates to the thought of starting his weekly/monthly thread bitching about the Cowboys being on TV.

The Packers-Giants game the week before drew 20.9 million viewers. The Chiefs-Steelers game drew 20.3 million. The average is 20.8 million. In other words, stfu.

Yeah the dude is acting like these games normally draw 30 million and this one suddenly drew 20 million. Looks like ratings are usually the same, give or take a few hundred thousand.

And got to see Mo return that fumble for a TD late to clinch the game.

First of Congrats, we expect to read great things about you in your career as a TV exec.

Next, no one said the Cowboys get the single highest ratings for each and every game, just that they generally do get high ratings. That's why this game was picked at the start of the season. The 2 teams that have been getting better ratings of late, the Saints, played in Thursday to 1/3 the viewers per your link on the NFLN and Packers played the Sunday Night before and after.

It was also explained to you that the other networks get to protect one game from being flexed. A reasonable person, with out an agenda of Cowboy hating would realize that CBS would protect Steelers-Ravens and given that GB was on the Sunday before and after, seems likely that Fox would elect to keep Denver-TB. The rest of the slate was pretty much garbage.

But please, don;t let facts and logic get in the way of your Cowboy hating. Good luck in your career as director of programing.
