Why include info that would destroy your premise?

Chingy

line up is a lot more impressive than what the south is offering but Chief Keef trying his best to make it the worst.....

I think it has a lot to do with a lot of stupid songs getting mainstream..such as Waka Flocka while some real underground rappers are being left behind.

South line

NOLA: Big Tymers, Lil Wayne, Curren$y, Juvenile,
Atlanta: Outkast, Luda, TI, Jeezy, B.o.B, field Mob, Gucci Mane
Houston: Scarface, UGK, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, lil flip, chamillionare

Plus you got
Baton Rouge with Webbie and booise,
Memphis with 8ball and mjg and 3 6 mafia,
Mississippi with KRIT and Banner among others,

Yelawolf in Bama, nappy roots in KY, J.cole grew up in North Carolina

Not sure if you are including Miami in this as well.

That top to bottom/past to present is as good as any other in the country.

The east coast rap scene is garbage right now. The only decent rappers are in their late 30s or 40s.

My man Calvin Broadus was born and raised in the Beach, and that's where he developed his rap style. His folks are from Mississippi.
