Actually FPS is the only the type of game that really makes me rage. COD specifically b/c of the cheese. BF3 sometimes but not as much
RPG I'm much more laid back
And I still can't use a shotty for crap. Tried it this morning before I left for work. I suck with shotguns

FWIW I haven't had 4Loko since the old FUTR days.
Watched a clip on the gameplay with commentary. Player had done something to get his player's health cut in half. His comments were as follows:
"I'm permanently fricked"
"This guy is supremely fisted"
and my favorite
"With half health I just keep getting my a-hole slapped"

Which Dragon Age is best?
They are pretty cheap on ebay. Looking at Origins and DA 2.
I'm thinking I'll probably get Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma as well, eventually.
I'm still hesitant on the Elder Scrolls games. Just watching the gameplay makes it seem kinda "meh" to me. Looks Falloutish

Same developer. I would put Skryim on the top of your list, just as far as accessibility, but if you couldn't get into Fallout 3, don't bother.

The only one I messed with is Origin because I got it for free. Didn't play it much because the controls were a bit wonky, but most people here will say it's amazing. My roommate loved the second one, which is odd, because everyone here calls it an abortion. I think they dumbed it down from the original. More hack and slash or whatever. I would watch videos, but I would almost say 2 would be more your style.

2 would be the one I would play as well. So stick both of those somewhere 
ETA: DA Origin is, from what my friend told me, a hardcore "I only ever play RPG's" RPG. I like them alright, but if it gets too involved, I'm out.

I still play it because I want to beat it, but it pisses me off so much that I have to take extended breaks from it

I have to disagree on this one. Fallout has way more dialog bullshite you have to sit through. I couldn't get into it at all. Skyrim leans more towards hack n slash imo. I don't see how anyone could deny that the graphics for skyrim are just stunning.

What am I missing? Watching gameplay vids of skyrim the graphics were meh at best IMO. Other games looked much better to me. I'm really not seeing the appeal at all.
Maybe if I can find it for around $10 one day I will check it out. I just have a feeling I would e wasting $30-$40
