re: Time to talk about things forgotten

Love the "New Generation" commercials!! What memories! Its amazing how far we've come in the technology of electronics since the mid 80's. Can you imagine paying 2 grand for a 35" tube t.v. with a picture that's as blurry as hell???!!! Of course we thought it was an awesome picture back then. But, but, but it has on screen menu and a remote control!!!!

My dad worked for National for 25 years. He helped open the Real Superstore in Lafayette when I was little. I used to run that place on Saturdays when my mom was there shopping. Easily the best store brand soft drinks. National Black Cherry was the best!

Rax still exists

I know but it might as well be in Siberia

Rax was so awesome it's not even funny. They would put a shitload of great coupons in the Fun section -- $1 a sandwich

Used to practically live at the one on Essen

Hop hop hop to Hopper's

And who remembers Alan McCarty? And the M&M boys? AM can be seen as the MC of the sorority pageant or whatever it is in Everybody's All-American
