Sorry, meant Crowton.

Either way 14th with Jimbo in 2006 and 9th in 2007 with the Wizard.

do you realize what the QB situation would have been had Mettenberger not gotten kicked off the GA team, or gone elsewhere? When Garrett left and ZLee went baseball, the pipeline following JJ and JLee was Rivers, who most aren't still even sure he is SEC capable. There was virtually no one else on the board at the time.

he told Les to go F himself the last time they played. I don't think Les will be offering him a job anytime soon.

Dude Miles went to the National Championship last year without using Mett anytime significant. He would not have been fired without Mettenberger.

Key words being "not sure". No one knows, so no telling how good he may or may not have been.

how can you possibly say Mett saved Miles' job?

LSU could hire you or I as OC and it would just be a title. Miles is the real OC, so whoever is hired, would be a mere puppet
I hate to piss in your koolaid, but Miles is the only common denominator in 4 of the top 5 scoring offenses in LSU history....and 3/5 top yds/season, for the yardage junkies.

That's on pg 142 of the 2012 record book.
You and the other "Miles the Meddler" bunch in this thread should probably read that publication and omit from your propaganda so your Anti-Miles spin won't sound quite so ignorant to knowledgeable LSU fans.

Coach Stud is great, and I hope we are able to keep him. He has gotten way too much criticism. The players love him.

i doubt it was jimbo's grand idea to ground and pound two out of shape RB's coming off acl tears. buster davis made some tough catches, i wanted to kiss him on the mouth if i was a girl.
