yep, just speculation because Stud has a connection to Arkansas state. I'd be shocked if he goes anyhwere.

I always chuckle when people make that argument. He is the HEAD frickING COACH....he isn't allowed to have his hands in shite?

How much say so do you think Miles has in the defensive personnel/play calling on Defense vs that of the offense?

sure he's allowed. But that also makes Stud look worse than he actually is. You aren't following this thread much are you, big guy?

How so? The playcalls worked when our players actually executed. Imagine that. Les can't fix a broke oline, bad passes, picks in the redzone, 5 dropped passes a game

Not trying to be an arse, but other teams have guys that don't do this, so Les can "fix" it by recruiting players that don't do these things.

The O-line was unavoidable, but I see that as a blessing in disguise.

Les called all the plays that didnt. That's what most of these morons like marlin man probably believe.

I doubt any school would want him. He can't coordinate four and five star recruits

Actually, he's got a pretty damn good track record as an OC in the MAC
quote:

In 2005, Studrawa led a Bowling Green offense that ranked second in the MAC in both passing (283.9) and scoring (33.8) and was third in the league in pass efficiency (142.4). In 2004, BGSU finished second nationally in total offense with a MAC record 506.3 yards per game. The Falcons were also third in the nation in passing (338.3) and turnover margin (1.25) and fourth in scoring with a MAC record 44.3 points per game. In 2004, the Falcons had four games of scoring at least 50 points as they averaged 49.4 points over their final nine games of the season. The 2004 season saw the Falcons go 9-3 overall, which included the 52-35 victory over Memphis in the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

I'm sure when it comes to game planning Les has a pretty big say so in the offense and defense. Do you think Miles should be completely hands off?

I guess they think we pay him $4 million to speak at press conferences and chew grass on the sidelines.

just because they work doesn't always mean its good playcalling. Look at the Arkansas game. We totally get away from what worked against State and Ole Miss just because we're on the road. It was an awfully called game. Almost all passes to the sidelines, no use of the tight ends...

So obviously you think Les is calling ALL the plays.

The head coach is responsible for the concept and identity of your offense. Unless Les is calling every play, your example is on the offensive coordinator not Les.

same as the offense, when the defense screws up, that's Miles overriding Chavis...when they play well, it's all Chavis

We also had the #1 offense in the SEC last year with Jordan fricking Jefferson at QB.

I think he has a BIG part in the scheming and by big, I mean maybe too much. All I know for fact is that since he's been here we've had 3 offensive coordinators that no one was really quite happy with. There's one common denominator... I suppose the only people who truly know 100% are the guys in the locker room.
