LinkedIn has offered me a free one month premium membership for the second month in a row. Is anyone here a premium member that might want to shed some light on the benefits of using this one month offer? And if I take this offer will I need to eyeball the date of expiration so they don't charge me a month in the case I don't cancel my membership on time?

I wouldn't do it just because I always forget to cancel after my trial period and end up getting charged for a month

The benefits are you are more visible to employers, you can see everyone who has looked at your profile, and I think you have better access to job listings but I haven't tried out premium to know if I missed anything.

Thanks, I certainly don't have any intent to be a long term premium user. Maybe if I was in the job market, it would be of benefit.

Right now I'm simply getting persuaded by LinkedIn to jump on their offer

My friend tried it. He had to work decently hard to cancel before they automatically charged him after a month.

You can already see the last five to seven people who viewed your profile, so if you are really seriously job hunting just get on there every day and check.

I don't see the benefit.
