Where are they serving it in laffy?

Serving? I'm not sure
I called places that were selling bottles. Nunu's, Marcelo's, champagnes, and Ambassador wine & spirits. All said they sold out immediately.

quote:
Appearance: little head. I blame the bartender
Smell: caramel molasses and spice. Good hop presence.
Taste: nice balance of malt and hops. More bitter than malty. Caramel with slight biscuit with hop bitterness on top and some alcohol (a good amount for winter)
Mouthfeel: chewy and alcohol numbing(in a good way) without tasting 11%.
Drink ability: a filling beer but hides its abc well. Great brew to drink in the cold months.
Overall: solid beer. Maybe the best brew produced in Louisiana."
I wouldnt trust this review too much. That dude has some wierd taste buds.
I did think it was more bitter than sweet though (not sierrra nevada or stone bitter). i haven't tried the bottle, only on tap the night of the release with a shrimp po boy.

Oh yeah. They almost laughed at me for even asking if they still had some.

I did a Food Board favor and hid one at the Rouses on Tchoup for anyone who asked. There were only 4 left last night. I took one, hid one behind the Dansk Mead Viking Blod and pulled the other two to the front, so look behind the mead, unless some Rouses employee figured out my game. $12.99.
That's pretty freaking cool of you bottomland

You're about 5 days too late. I've only heard of one place getting a second shipment so far. It was in Lafayette and try sold out in an hour.
I'm just happy I got a pint on tap an a bottle to cellar.
- Yeah I was really hoping for a second shipment. Ah well, I have a bunch of pumpkinator if anyone wants to make a trade.

I've heard BR might have a few more cases pop up, but I'm not positive. Mathernes on Highland was the last place I heard of having some.

- I'm sure by the time I hear about it on here, they will be gone, and I only live about 7 minutes from Mathernes

Calandros?
CJ says none coming his way that he knows of.
Just left Tim at Matherne's and he wasn't optimistic either, though he's trying.

I wonder if Chimes East has any left on tap. It was very nice on Friday night.

My buddy in Lafayette is saving one for me when i make it home for Christmas. I'm gonna bring him some brew from Florida that he can't get in La.

About six bottles or so left on the shelf at Calandros (Perkins) as of about 40 minutes ago. It is on the bottom right of the shelving where all the Green Flash and Clown Shoes is.
Buyer beware: they were $19.99 a piece, I believe a few bucks more than others places were selling them last week. I found out when I got to the register.
