"Appearance: little head. I blame the bartender
Smell: caramel molasses and spice. Good hop presence.
Taste: nice balance of malt and hops. More bitter than malty. Caramel with slight biscuit with hop bitterness on top and some alcohol (a good amount for winter)
Mouthfeel: chewy and alcohol numbing(in a good way) without tasting 11%.
Drink ability: a filling beer but hides its abc well. Great brew to drink in the cold months.
Overall: solid beer. Maybe the best brew produced in Louisiana."

Unless Steins is close or you need to go there anyway, I'd call first. This beer was a limited release and it is likely no longer available.

The Canebrake is solid and is selling like crazy, but the Grand Reserve is at another level. I am looking forward to the Envie Pale Ale. I love seeing a local brewery that knows what it is doing.

I got two bottles as a gift this weekend. Thinking of drinking one and letting one age. How long should i age one for?

It will age well for years. Andrew brewed it with the intent on being able to try multiple years worth down the line.

I did a Food Board favor and hid one at the Rouses on Tchoup for anyone who asked. There were only 4 left last night. I took one, hid one behind the Dansk Mead Viking Blod and pulled the other two to the front, so look behind the mead, unless some Rouses employee figured out my game. $12.99.

That's. Awesome.
