Does anyone know how to calculate what you need to get on the final exam to get a certain grade in the class? I'm confused because he says the final is worth 25 points (only 5 more points than the regular tests) but there's 50 questions on the test... i know he throws out questions, so does that mean he's going to throw out that many questions??

The class is out if the total number of queations you get right on all four tests in the class. So the three tests during the semester have 30 questions on them and the final has 60 I think so the class is out of 150. I could be wrong about how many questions are on the final but that's how the class works.

Charles in Charge is awesome. I enjoyed the hell out of his class because it was so easy. Hint: the test questions are the same as the ones from the clicker sessions just with the knowns and unknowns switched around or reworded.

The amount of questions he throws out depends of the results. Just do the best you can.

Are you retarded? You do realize that the first three exams had 25 questions on them and counted for 20 points, right? And that he added the number of questions you got correct plus the curve and then divided that number by 25 to get your percentage. And then multiplied that percentage by 20 to get your score on that test. It's gonna be the same for the final.

He disabled that for whatever reason. It's pretty simple to calculate what you need though.

that makes way more sense. i didn't know he added the curve and divided the grade.. that's why i was confused. i thought he just threw out the 5 questions so it equaled the amount the test was worth. thanks
sidenote.. this account isnt mine.. I'm using someone elses because i don't have one and roussel disabled the ability to talk to anyone else in the class. so if you wanna rant at me, fine but i probably won't see anymore of these comments so have fun saying mean things :) (if posts alert the account owner- sorry about this!)

Can't believe that guy is still there. He's been there forever. Great dude though....wrote me a letter of recommendation for grad school.
