I'll definitely give them a listen. Who should I DEFINITELY give a listen to? Ritchie Hawtin? Anybody else? FYI: I don't box myself in, but I tend to prefer progressive house. My favs are Arty, Sander, and Aviici.

This is a good set by Lee Foss. House/techno/minimal house/Nu-Disco. Whew.

P.S. after listening to it again tonight....a little less techno and more deep house. Last two times he played here he mixed in some techno, too.

This set always make me want to dance with my woman. Sexy and fun. Really can't ask for any more from EDM.

I've heard of MR. Bill. Before Dubstep took over we had the Glitch Mob here every other week. I even caught them for NYE.

(2nd post here, and reason I signed up for the site)

It's a good list, but wreaks of RA. I definitely prefer it to the Top 100 popularity contest of bullshite that DJ Mag puts out. Really great to see females in there. Surprised Sasha is that high. I didn't think he was touring that much. Disappointed that it seems to all be 4/4 stuff, but that is RA's audience. I'm satisfied with their #1. I'm surprised they didn't mention he was recently picked up by Jay-Z's label. Richie Hawtin recently toured live and streamed every night of the tour. He is on another level, and then some. Watching him up close is a real treat.

I have seen the majority of that list perform this year, but only b/c I run a website that follows live video streams of DJs and Festivals on the internet. Pretty much everyone on that list streamed a live performance for free from various venues around the world. If interested, check out my site, The Stream Lab, and add us on Twitter/FB if you want updates. Nic Fanciulli played earlier, and Sharam (of Deep Dish fame) will play tonight. Pretty sure some of the BPM festival will be streamed as well.

I love edm, obviously, but the music is starting to pass me up. Chillout/downtempo is my favorite genre these days.

Cheers!

it would if there was any. unfortunately, the majority of people doing the streaming are big room clubs, where drum and bass doesn't fly. mixmag.tv had London Elektricity and someone else, but that's all i can remember.

When it comes to this is certainly is passing you by... I recently got back into EDM. For a while I was all just chill and trip-hop.

Then Nero blew my mind.

Nic Fanciull
Loved his sets back in the day. New York House style with some darkness??? If I am not mistaken

Sharam
Breaks??? I don't remember. Think I had a mixalbum by him from 03.

So the BPM Music Fest is streaming live now from Playa del Carmen if anyone is interested. Sander Kleinenberg is playing the sunset from a beach club, with Sharam to follow. After the weekend I will be posting all notable sets from BPM to re-watch.

so how out of touch am I for going to edmsauce and listening to tracks when I feel the urge?

It's not my scene, but I appreciate the energy when I'm in the mindset for it.

I don't normally listen to country...BUT, when I do have the mindset it is appreciated to hear it.

Your more in touch than most, I'd say once you find you some EMD/Electronica you really like you will appreciate it even more.
