The guy is a great coach. Players love him, good recruiter, good discipline even at the U. He pulled Temple out of the grave then got handcuffed into that mess in Miami. Has proven to be a great program building coach. Just wondering if he really has no interest in changing jobs or if and why AU/Ten/Ark don't seem to be interested in him.

Apparently he was in contact and (may have) done interviews with UT and BC, but told them no thanks.

He did a radio interview a few days ago(le batard) and said 0% chance he's leaving Miami, his kids and wife love it too much there. Sounded like he meant it.

I commented a week or so ago, that Golden is set and will ride out Miami. If he gets fired, he's got a buyout. Miami is too awesome of a place to be making a couple mil and have the world at your fingertips to leave for where Knoxville or Boston?

There was definite interest, just not enough interest from either party
