Any discussion about trades, signings, coaching changes can happen here.
Journeyman defender Kosuke Kimura is heading to New York today after Portland traded him and a second round draft pick to the Red Bulls for cash and the HGP rights to Bryan Gallego, one of new Portland HC Caleb Porter's best defenders from the Akron team he just left. Also worth noting is that NYRB doesn't have their new HC yet, but they're making deals.

Portland picked up Will Johnson from RSL for allocation money. That's an extremely good pickup for Portland.

Portland have added Will Johnson from RSL and Michael Harrington from SKC.
We sent Kimura to New York, Brunner to Houston and let Palmer and Purdy go.
Real Salt Lake have sent half of their core packing already. Looks like they're ready to tear it down and start over.

Teams can still resign these guys, but there are some decent names on the non-tendered list:
LINK
Ike Opara (if only he could stay healthy), Kevin Hartman, Juan Pablo Angel, Will Hesmer (got Gruenenbaumed), and about 10 Colorado players.
Johnson is a great signing for Portland.

17 year old Philadelphia Union midfielder Zach Pfeffer is going on 1 year loan at Hoffenheim. No option to buy.
23 Year old New York Red Bull right back Conor Lade has an upcoming training stint with Sevilla. I guess that means he's in Jurgy's plans.

Montreal Impact trade Josh Gardner to Sporting KC for a 2nd round pick (the higher of KC's 2 2nd round picks) in the 2013 MLS Draft.

Less than a year after being traded away from the team he spent two years starring for, Sebastien LeToux is one his way back to the Philadelphia Union.
The New York Red Bulls have traded LeToux to the Philadelphia Union for allocation money and the rights to a player to be named later, sources with knowledge of the trade confirmed to SBI on Thursday. The trade came the same day the Red Bulls made a Bona Fide offer to LeToux to secure his MLS rights, which paved the way for the trade.
LeToux returns to the Union after spending time with the Vancouver Whitecaps and Red Bulls in 2012. Traded from the Union to the Whitecaps for allocation money at the start of the 2011 season, LeToux will now return to a Union side where he scored 25 goals over the course of the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
Odd move.

Not really. He's extremely well liked in the area.

No, I get that, but trading a guy back to the team he just came from is puzzling to me.

He was originally traded to Vancouver from Philly in the offseason, and then from Van City to New York.

Forgot about that. Makes more sense.
ETA: It helps to read the "he spent time in Vancouver in 2012" part of the article I quoted. I blame it on finals.

SKC picked up Benny Feilhaber today for draft picks and allocation money. Good pick-up, we've needed more in midfield, especially with Espinoza almost certainly leaving.

OLAS Danny Mwanga re-signed with Portland today. I think he may get some quality starting minutes with Porter at the helm.

FC Dallas has signed former Atlético Madrid midfielder Peter Luccin pending receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
So they replaced a retiring 36 year old (Daniel Hernández) for a 33 year old.
17 goals in his lifetime

It is rumored that the Portland Timbers and Toronto FC have agreed to a deal which would see the Timbers send their third overall SuperDraft pick to the Canadian side in exchange for forward Ryan Johnson and goalkeeper Milos Kocic.
