Clemson is soft

Everything about Clemson is soft. Their coaches, team, and fans. Ball control is the key to winning, but POP one of their vaunted "offensive machines" just once, and the rest of them will start dropping balls, avoiding contact, etc.
I implore Les to send a headhunter out there to lay the wood to Ellington, Sammy Potkins, or Nuke Dropkins. Is a 15 yard penalty worth making these guys tiptoe the rest of the afternoon scared shitless? You bet it is.
As for Vag Boyd, sack him once, and he immediately starts throwing the balls up for grabs when he hears footsteps. I can't wait to see him on his back. Clowney got him 5 times, break the record and get 6.

I feel pretty good about the matchup, but the fact is we haven't put anyone away this season. Okay, UW. But we tend to play things pretty close. A lot of people will say, "Yeah, but give Miles a month to prep and we'll destroy our bowl opponent." That didn't work out too well last January.
But shite, Clemson is ACC. No worries. LSU 31-21.

Yes indeed. I say this every game. I think every defense should get at least one or two of these per game to put the fear in the other team. 15 - 30 yards = scaring the other team into making mistakes.

Clemson is soft. Hit them in the mouth one time and they quit. They quit last year in the orange bowl, tell the WVa players "Ease up, You got this", etc.
Just like USC's game vs Clemson. Our DB DJ Swearinger lays the wood to their #1 back Ellington. He didn't have another carry the rest of the game.

Could there be a more obsessed fanbase than SC? I don't think so. Keeping your offense on the field and our offense off is the main reason SC kept us anywhere near 17.
As for LSU..that "can't win big games" crap is a pretty recent thing. Don't look now, but last time we played a ranked mighty SEC team in a bowl, we beat #7 Tennersee.
We didn't look too soft out there. Our offense moved the ball fine for most the game. But we don't have classless thugs like Swearinger. Thank god.

Results, not excuses. The last 4 years, you've got nothing but excuses. Are those excuses going to end up as footnotes in the history book? I'd say not...
