I have been a West Brom fan since 2004. It's amazing how great of a season we are having. Too bad we can't get over the Stoke hoodoo.

Are players starting to go down? I'm assuming their main issue will be depth going into the season.. I just know they've lost a few matches recently.

2 in a row but before that had beat Chelsea and others. Mulumbu picked up a knock recently who is arguably our most vital player.

I predicted Romelu Lukaku to be a breakout player to watch in the EPL before the season started.

I like being right, so it's good to see him and the Baggies do well.

if he was on about half of the other rosters in the league he would be starting, but Long has been excellent this season and is keeping him out.

ETA: this is what fantasy has done to me.. I almost want chelsea to bring him back and give him starts.

Lukaku looks like a midtable player unfortunately. He wouldn't start for many of the top clubs until his mid 20s. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea bring him back and take a chance on him, but he has said a few times he doesn't want to go back to that club.

I really don't understand this. Did his agent tell him he was going to come in and start? For me, he should be mad at his agent for bad info, not Chelsea. But right now, I'm all "frick Chelsea" as well.

He cycles in and has the same amount of goals as Long this season, 5. Odemwingie only has 4.

For a 19-year-old rotation option, that's really good.

Yea we've talked about this before. Whatever false information he was fed to lead him to believe he would get significant minutes on a squad that had Drogba and a £50m striker was very misleading.

It may have been Chelsea giving out false hope, but if his agent couldn't see that, then he should still be fired. If a bunch of slapdicks on an LSU message board can see it, hopefully an agent could.

Yeah but his agent gets that nice % of his salary though. Tends to influence things

How long does that work before he gets fired and players everywhere black ball him?

Gareth McAuley

Even as a Wolves fan, I am supposed to hate WBA, but it is really cool to see them do so well. If only their Midlands counterpart could have the same success...

Is that the sound of West Brom bouncing in and out of the EPL? They're having a good season so far, however, they will finish outside of the top 8 this year and fight relegation next season.

Yes Boing Boing was originally WB's thing when we would drop to the Championship every other year, boing right back and not become a Leicester/Coventry/Ipswich and the like.
Why do you think we battle relegation next year?
