Got a deer this weekend and need to get it processed in BR. I have it quartered but not deboned. Might to it this week or might just let the processor handle it. Anyone know of a good place around br? Has anyone been to Bergeron's in Port Allen? I heard Tramonte's was pretty expensive.

There are a few threads about this recently. But, FYI I am a big fan of Bergeron's. I take all my deer there.

My buddy recommends Tramontes

IMO if you're worried about cost it's best to just do it yourself. Unless you don't really hunt that much.

They are expensive. I went to pick up with a buddy two years ago and all sausage for him ended up costing over $400. He nearly walked out and left his meat. I was laughing.

I would have told them to keep it.Sounds like they were really trying to give you the sausage.
