There are a lot of good singers in America... few great ones. I have yet to see a great singer on any of those three shows (aside from Christina Aguillera and a few celebrity guests, that is.)

While I don't know who Carly Rose is, I would suggest that American Idol has showcased a number of great singers. They may not all be successful, but they are most assuredly great voices. Including, but not limited to:

Kelly Clarkson
Kimberly Locke
Clay Aiken
Carrie Underwood
Fantasia Barrino

among others. I haven't watched in several years because the show sucks donkey arse now.

I've never been impressed with anyone I've seen on any of the other shows, including "The Voice"

Javier Colon from The Voice(season 1) is great singer. He won't ever be a "star" but he is great at what he does.

The great ones have other options of getting where they're going besides auditioning on a reality show.

Jennifer Hudson was on American idol. Op is an idiot, but I think most people here know that already.

American idol gave us Carrie Underwood and Hollie Cavanagh. Two of the greatest singers of all time.

Underwood >>> Carly Rose

But carly rose is good and I think she should win. She's just getting a little too hyped due to poor competition.

Susan Boyle's story was perfectly played up by Simon Cowell & Co. and it was a truly epic few minutes of televions when the frumpy middle aged woman from West Lothian (which is a collection of, of of, of, you know....villages!) showed that in her own beautiful she had serious star power and a nice set of pipes.

Unfortunately she also has that middle aged vocal wobble that causes annoying vibrato and let's be honest...she's pretty frumpy.

Still a great triumph for someone who richly deserved it and her debut album made her some serious $$$$.

carly rose - my heart will go on

carly rose - somewhere over the rainbow

carly rose - rolling in the deep

these 3 links are the last 3 performances from carly rose sonenclair. they easily disprove rex and beefense's claims
