Highest ranked team to not play in January!
Ever!!!

This is not Miles' fault.

So being on the brink
He's Cholly Mac with better recruiting.

What do you suggest be done about that?

New OC, but it ain't gonna happen.
At some point, even the most clueless sunshine pumpers will have to consider that the consistent, year-in year-out, low-ranked offenses might just have something to do with coaching.

Who do you have in mind that will guarantee more wins?

I guess having an offense that is ranked among the lowest in CFB year after year is just peachy with you. But you're right. We shouldn't change a thing. It might damage our perpetual, 2-loss, 2nd tier status.
ETA: More wins? shite. We didn't need 10 wins to go to the fricking Peach Bowl. We could have done it at 8-4 (and damn near did against vastly inferior teams).

Who? Guaranteed to have better seasons?

Nice rant but you seem to forget that LSU won 13 games last year.

What bowls are 8-4 teams in?

Wow. Not even close to correct. Miles has to compete against far better coaches across the conference than McClendon ever did, and probably more talent as well. The SEC wasn't nearly the conference it is now. Bryant was the only really great coach that McClendon faced year in and year out. Even when he had as much or near Bryant's talent, he couldn't win. His record against teams with winning records, especially in the later years, was disappointing. Talent alone doesn't beat the kind of talented, well-coached teams that LSU regularly faces now. Just look at the recruiting rankings over the last few years. Teams like Florida, Georgia, Alabama have just as much talent, sometimes more. Yet Miles has held his own. As as been pointed out elsewhere he is above 50% against top 10 teams and 50% against top 5 teams. You don't post that kind of record on just talent.

So you think the current offensive staff is just great and that we'll lose more games if we change it. Gotcha.

Getting the point is kinda like playing "whack-a-mole" for you, isn't it?

You can't find someone to guarantee more wins. You can find a lot of people who can help put LSU in a position to finish it out. This team was fortunate to only have two losses.
As long as people are content with being close, he has no reason to change.

It worked out to an SEC title and an undefeated regular season. If you can get excited about that you got real problems man.

Close to what? Being a great program? Wake up dude. We're living that now. You're missing THE best years in LSU history. We're staring down 35-5 in the last 3 years. We're racking up wins and you're miserable. How sad.

quote:It worked out to being pissed on by our most hated conference rival, which pretty much negated the "conference championship." I was very excited, right up to that point. And - wow - it was just lifeless. Usuall, even in a loss, there's some consolation to be taken in a game - good plays, fought hard, etc. Nope. Not this one. Just laid there like a corpse getting fricked by some paramedics.
It worked out to an SEC title and an undefeated regular season.
But it's cool. We're back to losing 2 games a year again. Order restored.

What the frick are you talking about? You are a perfect stereotype for your ilk.
No one is miserable you hack. It's an idea of how LSU can get tot he next level. In your very small world, everyone is either non questioning or a hater

Are you serious. Dude nothing will ever satisfy you then. Cause with that outlook, it's one loss and back to zero. You expect to never lose again? You truly are missing the golden years. One day 20 years from now someone will ask you how you enjoyed watching some of the greatest teams in school history play and you'll just mumble something about Miles being a moron and shuffle off.
