Uga and USCe were not ever going to the chicken because of this. It is nothing against Lsu. We probably should have gotten the cotten but you can't blame them for taking a Texas team with the likely heisman winner. Every domino has fallen against us this year.

We go to Atlanta get our 11th win, finish top 5 and roll into 2013.

By rights I'd imagine Texas A&M should have slid to the Chick fil a bowl, considering they lost to LSU and finished 3rd in the West.

But that's not really how it works.

Agree 100%, but the bowls are only worried about money. Always have.

Considering other bowls pick before the Peach....what does that have to do with anything?

It's not that the Peach picked us over others, it's that others didn't.

I'm not disputing you, I just never understood the line of logic.

The sec coordinates who goes where for the "best interest" of the league and bowls.

The point some of us are making is the SEC goes to bat for some schools and not others. If it was LSU playing Clemson next year, would the league be moving heaven and earth to get us into another bowl? I suspect not.

Funny how the league's best interest almost never coincides with LSU's.

Everyone is citing the whole "No Rematches in Bowl Games" rule. This begs to ask... 2011?
