Actually an interesting matchup with a top 15 team. Frankly, will be one of the better bowl games. And we always play well in Atlanta. Count me in

All these people boycotting the bowl act like it will change something.

Are you talking about Tiger fans or people who are boycotting the Chic-Fil-A corporation? Is there still an anti-Chic-Fil-A protest going on because of intolerant statements by their CEO? If so, I would think the controversy might lead to higher ratings in general...not as much as the Midland-Odessa Fracking Bowl...but still, higher ratings.

I'm excited! I don't get to see my Tigers too often since I live in Kansas. My son is in band and his school will be performing at halftime (with other bands). He attends Topeka West High School in Topeka, KS and their fight song is the same as "Hey Fighting Tigers".

So, even though I really didn't want to see the Tigers play in Atlanta, I'm gonna enjoy it since I don't take it for granted!

LSU has nothing to gain from this game. The players and coaches understand that much. Northern Ill is going to a BCS bowl. What a complete joke. A 4 team playoff is little better as you can bet the rent money that there will be quotas limiting any conference from having "too many" teams represented.

Jan 9 2012 was the worst day in LSU football. Nothing has gone right since.

Nothing could have been done about that game. Good thing we had Coach Miles for that game. With anybody else the result would not have been that close. It was Destiny.

I hope that they limit it to ONE team per Conference: the Conf Champs.

Cotton Bowl love them some Johnny Football. If only we still had the Honey Badger to compete with his popularity.

This is what I've been saying. After the BCS, there really is no difference.

Wrong. Payouts for cap one and cotton are significantly more than other non-SEC bowls.

First, SEC revenue sharing.

Second,

Chicken Bowl - 6.9 million
Crap-ton - 7.25
Bailout Bowl - 8.5

Capital One has been the highest non-BCS payout bowl, though Cotton has been making waves for the past few years.

Or an offense that made the viewers more excited than waiting for the latest commercials.
