Is Matt Flynn destined to become a career back-up QB in the NFL?

Although he made a terrible choice to go to Seattle & we know Pete Carroll seems to have little use for former LSU players, it does make you wonder. I am still not convinced Rusell Wilson is definitely a better QB & I doubt the Seahawks' record this season would be any worse if Matt were the starter.
I know some Dallas fans who would have been happy to get him, but who knows if Jerry Jones would have given him much of a chance?

Flynn was also a career backup at LSU. How many starting NFL QBs weren't full-time starters in college until their fifth year senior season? Very few. Matt Cassel was never the starter at USC. He is the only one I can of who matches that criteria.

No doubt that Carroll doesn't really care about which QB gives his team the best chance to win, and he benched Flynn because he hates LSU (because, you know, USC is totally obsessed with LSU) and doesn't care about wasting $20 million with a salary cap and all.

GB hates LSU players as well and forced him to be a back up, their record would not have been different with him starting over Rodgers

Back-up QB--or third string QB--is the best job in the NFL...make lots of money and don't ruin your body...Flynn is making more money than he ever will need...He needs to ride that train to retirement....

I wanted Dallas to draft Wilson to be the replacement to Romo in 2 years. But yes Flynn got beat out fairly. I'm pretty sure the Seahawks know what they are doing on this one.
