I think the Fiscal Cliff is probably more like a Revenue Hill



The CBO and the powers that be have projected/determined that if automatic cuts are allowed to happen, a lot of gloomy economic numbers will follow.

Reality: if next year I have to pay an (estimated) $300 a month, then guess what?
It's back to basic cable, a flip-phone with no data plan, conservation on electricity, less lattes, etc.

There won't be as much sales tax coming in. Companies will be leaner. People (including the wealthy) will learn to live with less.

It's not as big a deal as they make it

when do you suggest we do this? now or later? it will happen at some point...you can't run around and spend like drunk monkey's and think there is no consequence...
