They've always been obsessed with USC going back to the 80's - references even when not playing SC.

They reference a lot of schools. That's been their MO for decades. Every halftime show is making fun of something. Most of the time it's other schools.

I guess they're funny to outsiders...but no one in the Pac likes Stanford's band.
Sometimes the shite they pull is good but a lot of it backfires. They're annoying and weird shite and classless in stadium during games...which has become their only tradition...so yes USC sucked arse this year but doesn't change my opinion about Stanford's silly band.
Kevin Moen probably still gets free drinks at any bar up and down the coast.

I can't imagine why the other Pac schools don't like the band that mocks them. They are like the Rice band. Which I also enjoy.
