TCU. You boys are on your way down already. I hope you enjoyed your two CBS bowls. With or without Patterson you guys are headed right back to your historical average of suck. Without Patterson, it will get bad really quick. I am not going to bother to research TCU's opponents winning percentage over the last decade, but we can all agree that Patterson and TCU's has built their success in playing glorified junior colleges most Saturdays.

And to the tool thinking someone is going to pry Sumlin away... You reall think he is going to leave a school after one year with a heisman winner back for at least 2 yrs and a huge stadium project coming. This ain't Iowa state here.

Sounds like someone is mad that TCU is already outperforming what Texas A&M did in the Big 12

Also sounds like someone is mad that they have a Meineke Oil Bowl trophy in their case and nothing else from this millenium, while TCU has a nice shiny silver Rose Bowl trophy

They're 7-5. It's not possible for them to win 9 even if they win the bowl game.

You know, it's probably a bad idea to talk shite to a team that you haven't beaten since Nixon was president.

Why? Y'all hang on to accolades from pre-Pearl Harbor and manufacture championships.

Let's recap: Gary P - Regular season by Conference

Mountain West Conference
2008 10-2
2009 12-0
2010 12-0
2011 10-2

4 losses in four years in MWC

Big12
2012 7-5

5 losses in 1 year

Simply "Bad luck"?

It's a tougher conference. I do not know why anyone would think you just waltz in from the MWC and dominate. Big 12 to SEC, mostly lateral. MWC to Big 12, not so much.

Better than miles, Patterson did it with freshman and a RB playing QB.

Completely forgot about TCU's record against the Ags. Trust me, I ain't mad.

I think we have got off topic. The main idea here is that Gary Patterson is not going to get Arkansas any further than they have already in the SEC. Maybe Saban?

You make th call.

A) Because a 82% winning percentage in the MWC is better than a 81% winning percentage in the SEC?

B) because every team looking for a coach has been slapped around by Les for years.

Patterson is an outstanding coach. Should Les ever leave, at present he would be at the top of my short list. See below . . .

quote:

Biggest surprise: TCU's resurgence. I wasn't the only one prepared to bury TCU's first season in the Big 12 after losing star quarterback Casey Pachall and three days later, a home game to Iowa State by 14 points. The personnel losses were too much, we thought. Nope. The Frogs rallied, despite losing 20-plus players and fielding a team that was 70 percent freshmen and sophomores. They led the league in total defense, rolled over Baylor, beat West Virginia with a pair of gutsy calls in overtime and beat Texas solidly on Thanksgiving night. The Frogs also hung tough with Big 12 co-champions Oklahoma and K-State. These Frogs belong, and will only get better.

All of you people thinking GP isn't a great coach are hilarious. You either are choosing to ignore facts, or are simply too stupid to understand them.

well, if it's any consolation, it's mainly lsu fans and it's pretty much because he was rumored to be our coach so crowshitpie had to start a thread belittling him. you know how they roll.

GP is routinely listed as one of the top choices to replace CLM w/e Les is offered by another school.
