Listen, Mr. McGuire. I trust the coaching staff to evaluate and recruit the players necessary to stay elite. I'm sure they'll look at your son if he deserves it.

We arent missing on anything here. Best of luck to the kid if he can get his grades and move of to the next level of education, but recruiting wise, LSU is fine.

See Dandy Dons report today.

Says nothing about other schools offering him. If he is that great, wouldn't he be at least getting some mid major interest?

Looks like the #s won't work for McGuire, even if the academic and health concerns weren't there.

Even with the 2 recent decommits of Baker & Swanson, there are too many other highly rated players--Bain, Beckwith, Gardner, etc.--still out there that the Tigers would likely see as higher priorities than McGuire.

The thread shows that none of y'all no shite about football players (as recruits) not only DandyDon.com states that he is LSU material, so does Sonny and Shea at 247. They all agree that IF LSU takes a a RB it's him! I trust them more than y'all slap dicks that never played football

Always a great reply. Loved it when i was called Mr Laird and told LSU wasn't missing anything with Mark. Who's starting in centerfield this year?

He is getting mid level and SEC interest. I' ll just say someone very close to me has been his guidance counselor since the 9th grade. He still has work to do but he has been working hard to get eligible. I believe he will and LSU will offer. To those who say he isn't LSU material, you obviously have not seen him play. Frank Wilson has been in touch along with school visits from mcneese,ark-Monticello , and Miss St. ULL has offered him to play RB. If he would have had a normal high school career academic wise, he could pick where he wanted to go.Also getting linterest from schools as big as Georgetown on the hardwood.

I asked a recruiter and their reason for not going after him now was eligibility and grade issue. If some how that gets straight things could change. None of the smaller schools even offering yet. May be a better basketball player, same situation though. Best of luck to him. would be an asset where ever he goes.

Saw him play many times this year and he made defenses look slow. in the Neville game he faked LSU recruit "hootie" out of his sneakers a few times coming around the end. Shifty and fast.........has been to a couple of LSU games as a recruit this year. Also a very good basketball player.

I can see by your message probably more than you. He led the state in rushing and had over 130 yds against the vaunted Neville defense.

It amazes me the people on this site that think they know so much. All I can say is that I'm just going by what I've seen in person. The kid can play. Maybe his issues are holding him back, but he is gonna make some fans very happy one day.
