It will be a HUGE mistake. I've seen him play several times. He is a game changer. He's a must get .

Listen, Mr. McGuire. I trust the coaching staff to evaluate and recruit the players necessary to stay elite. I'm sure they'll look at your son if he deserves it.

Who has offered this kid? Is it just LSU missing out or is it every other big time college football program in the country. They're all wrong!

Mods have said the reason he doesnt have much in the form of offers is he is an academic casualty in the making. Actually he has zero offers.

So no one is missing out on anything.

if they do not sign him they are just making room for LF next year. on a side note he probably will not play much if LF signs

I think I'll step back and let this staff decide who comes in at RB, but thanks anyway.

IIRC correctly, his issue is an eligibility one, due to age. I could be wrong though. I seem to remember that he is an 18 year old junior, so he will either struggle to graduate early, or will have to go to prep school or sit out a year. either way, its a risk at this point.

Just spoke with him, and he said that the kid simply isn't LSU material. Thanks anyways Mrs. McGuire.

Correct. His lack of substantial interest is purely eligibility related. He was thought to be a '14 kid but has since been reclassified as a '13 kid because of age. If his grades come through I think we take him. Kid can play at LSU. Doesn't mean he would be a star or even any good but he's got the skills to play RB at LSU or any other high level to major program in the country. Health has also been an issue during his hs career so that is something to keep an eye on as well.

thats on par with what I was thinking. dude is definitely a player, but LSU isn't in a position to be offering schollies to kids with such uncertainty surrounding them.

...he's a talented, hard-nosed player with skills suited for Sunbelt level schools. You are fond of him and rightfully so; however, he is NOT major D1 material. Is what it is.
