I think Brees contribution to the city and state was fairly significant and transcended sports. For that reason, I'm torn. Football wise, I 100% wish we would have gone to the Dolphins.

Just look at the crowd shots of an NFL game and you see the difference.
Grown men with mancrushes in their guy's jersey or dressed up like it's halloween. Piped in music, hookers/strippers for "cheerleaders" (I know that's a plus for some.
