Through 5-7 games, sure.

He's just better imo. Through however many games really you want to extend it. Of course i've never seen your kid play or even heard of him before five minutes ago.

i will be dissappointed if we don't make it though.

Well then prepare to be disappointed, it's only 5 games, and 4 of them were against pretty bad competition.

i would hope we one of the better 68 teams in the country.

I hate this statement, because it's simply not true.

Is the American conference champ or the Sun Belt champ one of the best 68? Don't think so.

No, not really. No way you can look at their numbers last season and say you'd take Hickey.

First, I just looked at the numbers and I'd take Hickey. Second look at schedule. Tulanes confrence lags far behind the sec even in basketball.

We'll see how good he is if he stays until 2014... The Greenies move to the Big East, that should be fun

oh i certainly can. he had better scoring numbers than hickey but every PG category Hickey was superior. Playing against superior competion. SEC isnt elite, but its superior to cusa.

Keep in mind that there is one variable voids this comparison: A completely different offensive philosophy at LSU with our new coach.

True, also we are looking at a really small sample size so far this season.

ive looked at the stats. maybe you need to move your guy to the 2 guard since he shoots so much and turns it over a lot. he certainly doesnt seem like he's fitted to play pg.

PER's are very skewed to players who score. If you use my SoS rating that I have posted about a lot lately that many have agreed looks like a better model than the PER last season:

Tarrant Unadj - 26.97 adj- 29.97
Hickey unadj - 36.52 adj - 48.37

Maybe he should, I'm not the coach. His turnover percentage is actually much better than Hickeys.

Hickey does more than just score. Tarrant scored 15 ppg, great! Besides that he did very, very little to warrant calling him the best PG in the state.
