Didn't the Tea Bagger guy say he does not remember doing what he did because he was drinking? If true, can someone please tell me how that can be? He seemed to be in full control of his decision making and enjoying the attention he was getting from the other people around him.

So my question is this, when people say they can't remember their actions when drinking how much is a lie or they just don't want to remember? I rarely drink anymore but when I did in college I could always remember what I did the night before, even after doing shots of Tequila.

Obviously if you are passed out that is another story. But if you are fully functional why can't you remember what you are doing?

It's an excuse to not accept responsibility.

Two possible reasons:

1. He's blocked it out because he doesn't WANT to remember it.

2. He's lying.

I tend to go with the latter.

He wasn't drunk. He had extremely low blood sugar. Now you have to prove otherwise.

Sounds like the teabagger was just trying to wake him.

He wasn't in public bc he was drunk in a restaurant.

This however is deductive reasoning based on a Ron White sketch.

it should be like a dwi, he should get punished worse for being drunk. If i can't get out of being pulled over and use the excuse of being drunk why should it be an excuse for any behavior?

the topic on this dude is getting old, he is getting off way lighter than he should.
