Calling for Drew Brees' head? He's going to have bad games. He's the best competitor in the game of football and the best QB we have ever had by far. The last few seasons have spoiled us. The cards were against us from the get go this year. We're going to finish this season strong and bounce back next year. Straighten up Saints fans!

Ahhhh, the "wait till next year" talk 3/4through the season. Feels like old times for Saints fans.

I'm really hating this board and its attitude this season.

We've had so much shite thrown at the team this year and people are bashing like it's a normal year.

Here's the list of things that Falcon fans are happy about right now:

1) knocking the Saints out of playoff contention

2) beating the Saints

3) ending Brees's streak in a game where Brees threw a bunch of interceptions

4) being 11-1

Saints fans are understandably upset right now.

I don't remember Aaron Brooks bringing us to the playoffs or winning a superbowl either.

How "old" are you talking about? Because I can remember when the season was over well before half way though the season.

literally throws away one game for us

then goes on to say there is no margin for error in the next game

then throws 5 picks

I'm sorry, what?

Sean Payton brought us to a superbowl. If that isn't clear by now it never will be. Brees is a good QB, Payton makes him great. And don't give me O-line excuses, we have a ragtag oline minus Evans bc we pay Brees so damn much

Brees deserves the criticism he will get for this game. Cut him? Of course not. No one here is going to be any harder on him than he will be on himself.

You can have a bad game for your team. You will lose games for your team occasionally.

But when you are the highest paid QB in the country, you are usually expected to not lose back-to-back games for your team. A big factor is probably having Sean Payton around to calm him down when he screws up.

I'm one of the biggest Brees protectors, but that's something you expect out of Blaine Gabbert. I mean I don't think he could have thrown more picks if he tried. Such a horrible, horrible overall game by the offense really. Atlanta only scored 6 points from 8:00 in the 2nd half until the rest of the game.
The frustration to me is very valid considering 1/6 of your cap is tied into one player. I know our success rides with him, but sometimes I hate being so dependent on that.
