Why does everyone always say that if other nearby SEC teams win the league that it is not good for recruiting?
Are recruits delusional enough to think that LSU will win the SEC every year? As a recruit coming out of high school, you would have to notice that LSU has a pretty good shot any given season and within 3-4 years of their time on the team, they will most likely win the SEC and possibly national title.
The cyclical nature of college football is very obvious. If anything is bad for recruiting, it would be the possibility of the coach, ie recruiter, packing up and leaving at any given chance.
Bama winning another BCS title (remeber guys, LSU won the SEC last year) may sway a guy or two, but I don't think it will have much effect on the overall class.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Lashings? Tear me a knew one like I know you will!!

we won the league last year and challenge every year. it helps our recruiting. the head coach is probably the single most important factor in recruiting year in and year out. our recruiting is going great guns. screw bama. don't worry about people tearing you down unless you respect them.

Young kids believe IN THE PERSON recruiting...I promise you that OTHER coaches will bring that up at some point, or hint to it.

I doubt anyone here will try to argue your points with logic. In the sec you can't win the biggest game every year.
If lsu fans are this concerned about how another sec team will win the national title then why don't we just join the big east or some other bull shite conference.
The fans are hard to please and never want enough

The idea that bama winning another one will effect our recruiting is overblown. The only big instate recruit we've lost is Landon Collins and that was before the title game. Miles isn't going anywhere anytime soon and that's what is most important.

High school kids aren't rational. Bama winning won't kill us, but it won't help either, especially since we directly compete over several kids every year. If you had to choose, UGA winning it all is the lesser of evils
