No, you're missing the part where he's trying to post a pic from his computer. The pic has to be online somewhere in order to post it here.

It has to exist in the Internet. Hence uploading to host site like Photobucket

Install dropbox -> put photo in dropbox "public" folder -> right click picture -> copy public link

It's really simple to use imgur, and you can upload pics without an account. Go to imgur.com, click the upload button (the cloud with the arrow in the top left), choose a pic from your computer, and click upload image. When it finishes, it will take you to a page where you can copy the direct link to the image. Come back here, click the img button and paste that link in. OR you can copy the BBCode link that imgur provides and just paste that directly into your comment box here.
