I don't want to spend a bunch of $ on one because I will only use it on occasions.. My fiance's family is in a lease up in Jones, and they have a bunch of geese. I'm not bad with a duck call, but I've never really had much opportunities to do much goose hunting so I've never bothered with getting a call and perfecting it. What's a decent call that won't hurt my wallet(under $50 for sure)? Like I said, I will only use when I get an invite, so not trying to spend much. Just need a call that's easy to learn and will get the job done. I know the basics, but any pointers will be welcomed! If you know of any good instructional videos that would be awesome too! Thanks fellas!

Chien Caille +2.

If you are in the area go by Mr. Mervis' shop and he will tune it for you on the spot, and give you lots of pointers.

The Cailles are good if you are starting off and don't want to spend to much. However if yo want the best get a Riceland. Try the search button, this has been discussed in depth.

The best spec call I ever heard, not from a goose, came from a predator call.

Chein Caille is great, to be sure. But if you really just want something to throw in the bag and blow 2 days a year, you could do worse than a Haydel for $25. I keep one in the bag all the time. It is easier to me to learn to blow than the Chein Caille.

Yep
Olt Coyote call.

Had one and lost it. I guess it was karma cuz I got it by finding it on the ground one day, and when I put the word out no one claimed it.

It was great.

Right up my ally! This is more of what I'm thinking too. Maybe if I get to where I'm pretty good with it, and I'm going with them a lot I might look into the others.

Ever since I lost the Predator call I mentioned above, I just use the Haydels mostly.

Might upgrade soon, but it isn't really a problem.

Blew A Chien Callie for 3 or 4 years, but that riceland call takes half the air and sounds great. No turning back now
