With all the nostalgia in that Robin Hood thread, I thought about this movie. Matt Damon did the voice for the main character.

I must have watched this movie a million times from when I was 8-12. When I mention it to other people, no one seems to have heard of it. Anyone else watch this growing up?

Watched it back when it was playing in theaters. I really don't remember much about it but I liked it at the time.

I eat up that post-apocalyptic shite, so while it's a pretty average movie, I liked it. Haven't seen it in over 5 years, though, so will have to check it out again soon and see if my opinion has changed. I know it's on Netflix Instant.

The animation was really cool. It looked really clean... but dirty at the same time... i guess...

Ehhh, it was alright. Nothing to special or really having anything terrible about it.

This was the one where the boy's father built a spaceship that could create a planet right?

One animated film from that time in the same vein I might have enjoyed more is Treasure Planet. A space animated spin on treasure island.

Final Fantasy : Spirits Within and Advent Children

Im a huge FF7 guy, so I watch those both about 2 or 3 times a year.

I saw it in theaters too. It single handedly sunk Fox Animation studio if I recall correctly, but I was entertained.
