Just saying, I've been to 38 states and Louisiana is in the bottom 5 without a doubt

Only Kansas, Oklahoma, and Idaho are worse to me

You've obviously never been to West Virginia.

Where are you from and what do you rank your own state?

Kansas and Idaho are better than Alabama and Mississippi.

Trollin. I've been to 39 states and it's easily top 5. Every state I've been to has slummy areas. The French quarter smells like vomit and piss because of the tourists. U guys can't hold your liquor. The street sweeper/washer goes thru twice a day if I'm not mistaken.

If Louisiana is in your bottom 5 then please don't ever come back!! But if you do I strongly suggest you take a stroll through the Calliope Project...its a beautiful area.

I have a question: Do you pronounce that

callie-ope (callie like the name;-ope like in hope)

or

call-eye-oh-pee (like the instrument)?

I've heard it both ways both by New Orleanians.
