Would they be worthy of a raise? I wish I could get a raise based on these performance metrics. Would you be content if these were our team defensive rankings?

Hypothetical Total Defense:

2009
National – 113th
SEC – 12th

2010
National – 86th
SEC – 11th

2011
National – 86th
SEC – 6th

2012
National – 79th
SEC – 9

Whats our record? Are we still the reigning SEC champs? If so then yes

I agree with you 100%.

This raise is a burden on the entire LSU community. We are the subjects of this dictatorship where Alleva and Miles are places enormous tax burdens on their loyal fans.

At least a few brave souls have the courage to step up and realize that we should not be getting taxed without some say in the matter. In the 18th century, we would be called rebels or patriots. We recognize what it seems that 70% of the fan base chooses to be blind to. There comes a time where we can no longer stand for this tyranny and must take up action.

This is for my heart and my home. I refuse to stand by while we award mediocrity and suffer year to year. Enough is enough and it is time for a change.

I don't get it... you don't like improvement? I would agree that none of these rankings are that good, but I do see some kind of improvement every year.

Alleva is a tool. He let a shitty school be used a leverage for a better deal for miles. Just pathetic. If miles walked in my office and said he was considering leaving for arkansas I would laugh in his face and tell him I would help him pack. We're paying filet mignon pricing for a hamburger.

As long as our defense is this good we will never rank too highly in total offense. Last year we were #1 in the SEC in scoring (that's the stat that counts). We were also ranked highly in average starting position.

The test is not total offense but wins and losses. Those have been great lately.

I would be happy to win 14 games by 1 point on the last play of the game each season. Wouldn't you?

Not if the final score was 3-2. You probably say a win is a win is a win. I would probably have that mentality if I was on the team. However I am not on the team. I'm just someone seeking entertainment and I rarely find the offense entertaining. I do occasionally find the kick teams entertaining and the defense is most of the time. Bottom line this is a form of entertainment unless you are on the team or are part of the staff or work in the athletic dept. Some of you act like you are part of the team. I'll bet you call it "our" offense, etc. No, no, its not your offense. It's their offense. You are not and LSU Tiger. You are a fan of the LSU Tigers.

You know, mighty Alabama is at 43.

You aren't going to get much higher than that in college football having a balanced football team playing real teams.

They average about 50 more yards a game on offense than LSU does. LSU isn't that far off. LSU can improve, but we're not talking 50 spots, more like 20.
